At StockHalt Financial Inc. we are concerned with the privacy rights of our customers and online visitors and are committed to protecting the information collected about them. We value our relationship with you, and we take pride in maintaining loyalty and respect with each individual client by providing you with security. We have adopted a Privacy Policy in order to insure the security and confidentiality of customer records and information; to protect against any anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of such records; and to protect against unauthorized access to or use of such records or information which could result in harm or inconvenience to any customer.
The information you submit electronically through our website, or to our offices by fax or hardcopy, is collected by StockHalt Financial Inc. alone, and is never sold or rented. However, this policy does not apply when disclosure is required by law enforcement or other government officials in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal, or may expose you or us to legal liability.
StockHalt.com collects user information such as credit card, name, address, phone and email for billing and communication purposes only. Email address is mandatory to confirm your membership and is used as the main point of contact. Mobile phone number is optional, and will only be used to send alerts if selected by the user. Information is kept on file for the duration of your membership and will be purged from the system 60 days after cancellation.
Stock Halt Financial Inc. will not send users unsolicited mail. Users must opt-in to receive email and/or SMS messages from StockHalt.com. Alert settings can be changed in the "Edit Account" section of the website. Users may opt in or out of email and SMS alerts and messages. Instructions on how to opt-out of receiving messages is included at the bottom of every email sent by StockHalt.com.
If necessary, StockHalt Financial Inc. may provide customer information to persons or agencies assessing compliance with industry standards, as well as attorneys, accountants, and auditors. In addition, information about our customers, including personal information, may be disclosed as part of any bankruptcy, merger, sale, transfer of company assets, or acquisition.
Except as described in this privacy policy, we will not use your personal information for any other purpose unless we describe how such information will be used at the time you disclose it to us or we obtain your permission.
